Effective date: August 9, 2026.
This policy explains the information handled when you use thewebdeveloperscompany.com. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
Information you provide
The contact form asks for your name, email address, message, and optionally your company and current website. Referral forms can also ask for a phone number, referral source, and notes. We use this information to review the request, respond, and keep an operational record of the inquiry.
Checkout information
When you choose the online single-page website option, the site creates a Stripe Checkout session and sends you to Stripe to complete payment. The first-touch attribution fields described below can be attached to that Checkout Session so we can understand which visit led to the purchase. Payment-card details are entered with Stripe and are not stored by this website. Stripe handles that information under its own privacy terms.
Request and device information
The server records a timestamp and request IP address with contact and referral submissions. The hosting and network providers involved in serving the site may also process standard request data such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, and security signals.
Local preferences
The design switcher stores the selected theme in your browser’s local storage. The homepage opening sequence uses session storage so it does not replay on every page view. The site also stores a first-touch attribution record containing the landing-page URL without its query string, the referring page without its query string, any UTM campaign values in the landing URL, and the time captured. These records stay in your browser unless you clear them, and attribution is included with contact, referral, and checkout requests.
Service providers
The site uses Cloudflare for network delivery and security, Microsoft Graph to send inquiry notifications, Stripe for checkout, and Google for Analytics and hosted fonts. Those providers process information according to their own terms and policies.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), an audience-measurement service provided by Google, to understand how visitors find and use the site and to assess site performance. Depending on your browser and settings, GA4 may collect first-party cookies or similar identifiers, pages viewed and other site interactions, session and referral information, approximate location, and browser and device characteristics. Google processes this information to provide analytics reports. Google states that GA4 uses IP addresses at collection time for purposes including location and service security but does not log or store those IP addresses.
We measure contact and email-link interactions, checkout starts, successfully accepted inquiry and referral forms, and purchases only after the server confirms a paid Stripe Checkout Session. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, website values, messages, referral notes, or payment-card details to GA4. The GA client ID can be stored with an inquiry, referral, or Checkout Session to connect aggregate acquisition reporting with the resulting business record.
You can limit Google Analytics measurement by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser or by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can review Google’s practices in the Google Privacy Policy. The availability and effect of these controls may vary by browser, and they do not prevent the site or other service providers from handling the server and transaction information described elsewhere in this policy.
Retention and requests
Inquiry records may be kept as needed to respond, operate the business, secure the service, and meet applicable obligations. You may email us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted. A request may require verification, and some records may need to be retained where required or permitted.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site or its providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
