approach

A web development process built around working software.

Long web projects fail quietly — six weeks of silence, then a reveal nobody expected. We work the other way: small increments you can click through from the first week.

01

Discover

We start with your audience, your content, and what the site has to accomplish commercially. What are people coming to do, and what currently stops them? We look at analytics if you have them, and talk to the people who field the calls if you don’t.

02

Design

We design in the browser, not in a static mockup that lies about how things behave. You see real type at real sizes on a real phone early — so feedback is about the thing itself, not an impression of it.

03

Build

Hand-written code in tight, reviewable increments, each one deployed to a preview URL you can open. Performance and accessibility are checked as we go, so there’s no cleanup phase where quality gets negotiated away.

04

Launch

DNS, TLS, redirects, analytics, and search console — handled carefully to reduce avoidable migration and indexing risk. We map every old URL, test the redirects, and stay on hand through the switch.

05

Support

Monitoring, backups, patching, and a real person to reach. Ongoing support is available after launch as the site and the business evolve.

ground rules

How we keep it honest.

Fixed scope, visible progress

You always know what increment is in flight and what it costs. No surprise invoices, no scope that quietly doubles.

You own everything

Code, domain, hosting, analytics — all in your accounts, in your name, documented so any competent developer can pick it up.

We say no

If a feature won’t earn its keep, we’ll tell you before we build it. The cheapest work is the work you didn’t need.

No lock-in

We don’t hold hosting or credentials hostage. If you ever move on, you leave with a working system and no drama.

get in touch

Sound like the way you’d want to work?

Tell us what you’ve got and what it needs to do. We’ll come back with an honest first increment.
